Verdict

POLYMNIA (1) warmed nicely to her task late when resuming here two weeks ago, rattling home to finish a clear second. Strips fitter second-up and will appreciate getting out to the mile. McDonald taking over is another big push for her chances. Ready. MAJORCA SUNSET (4) continues to knock on the door. Couldn't go with Polymnia last start but now meets her 2.5kgs better at the weights. Carries a fitness edge and looks the main threat. BENDRODT (3) failed to threaten a breakaway pair last start but did make good inroads late from the back to find the frame. Gets the chance to settle closer from the kind draw and should relish the added trip on quick back-up. In the mix. KING OF THE RING (5) has also been doing his best work late and is another who will appreciate getting out to the mile. Going better than his form suggests and can run a good race at long odds. IN AND OUT (2)is another likely improver third-up. Worth noting the application of blinkers first time.
