KIRWANS BRIDGE (3) ran a much better race last start at Caulfield Heath and a repeat of that would just about win this. He was $51 there but hit the line strongly from back in the field. Will be deservedly much shorter this time around. DEVOTED POET (2) was close up fresh at Terang which saw him start $2.60 there last time, just even in a midfield finish. Can bounce back. SARDONIAN (5) was good fresh over 1400m at Terang and the rise in trip will suit. He's clearly come back well and this will have been a target all the way through. TWO FAULTS (7) is going okay and should be hard to hold out rising to 1700m. COUSINS DAY (9) is a mare by Kermadec on debut for the Wilde yard. Wary.
