HOT TODDY (2) lengthened nicely late to get close to the winner when resuming here last start. Strips fitter as he drops back in trip and will prove tough to stop with that run under his belt. GOLDEN RACER (3) showed good tactical speed on the Riverside track two weeks ago and fought hard in the lane to go down narrowly. Improvement anticipated second-up. Expect him to give backers another great side. ROCKET RUDEE (4) is a three-year-old Rubick gelding on debut for Wayne Carroll. Has shown ability at the trials and is well-placed to make a bright start. Win won't shock. BESSIE LA BELLE (8) is also on debut and is a Kermadec filly for Donna Scott. Showed positive signs in her only lead-up trial and a good draw is a big help. Will pay to see what the market does with her.
