SMART RETURN (8) raced favourite first-up but looked a run short. She showed more like her best beaten narrowly at Ararat following. Has a 2kg claim and the early speed to clear the awkward gate. Has more to give and will go close. FROSTY DAWN (10) didn't handle the heavy track at Geelong but just missed there prior in this grade. Peaks for this and the inside gate should advantage. NARALINGA (4) brings decent form from Adelaide. Will likely give away a start but finds easier and is in the mix. DIVINE TURF (9) resumes and rates best. May find this a touch short but the betting should tell the story.
