QUEBECK (9) is racing well and will take catching. He won two in a row over 1200m before just being overrun late in a truly run race at Cranbourne when up to this trip, finishing a narrow fourth. He is now 0/2 at 1400m but the downhill dip here should suit him and if he can pinch a break he can hold on. RUSSIAN METEOR (5) struggled at Flemington last time but the run two back at Cranbourne in a good Class 3 reads well. He can be hit or miss but his best form would go close. DELTA SKY (8) won three on the bounce prior to last start when struggling in a stronger BM78 at Flemington behind an in form mare. Back in trip here looks fine and this class suits better. BELTHIL (2) has been around the mark his past few and rates an each way chance. NEW YORK SCANDAL (11) doesn't win out of turn but can sneak into the finish.
