Verdict

Tricky race. ODINSON (2) might be the one screwed down to win this fresh. He'd run well against some smart juveniles without quite measuring up, resuming for one run and win at Doomben in the Spring, doing it easily at his first run as a gelding. He was tipped straight out and has jumped out three times, winning the latest in good style. Could be a big improver this time in. BAND OF BROTHERS (1) was only overrun late fresh at Geelong by a handy one in Sweethearted. He was in consistently strong form last time in against similar opposition, and with that run under the belt should go close. ANOTHER PROPHET (3) is an interesting entry off the G1 Thousand Guineas win in the Spring. Fancy she'll turn out to be a better sprinter than miler in time, and she clearly has the ability. TROPICUS (4) should be hitting the line strongly for further but can get into the finish. NDOLA (5) could sprint well fresh.
