PONDALOWIE (4) resumes. First up last campaign it was only a BM64 win at Bendigo on paper but she beat She's Bulletproof (since G3 placed) with a huge gap back to third. Pondalowie was then edged out by said G3 winner Niance before having had enough at Flemington. She gets in nicely at the weights here and can prove too strong late. MRS CHRISSIE (2) won very well fresh at Ballarat before being heavily backed and just failing to reel in Ashford Street. Up in the weights here but she rates a strong chance. FICKLE (6) is in flying form, winning her past three, again too speedy in front last time. That was only a BM70 but she does drop 7.5kg with newlywed Jamie Melham (Kah) aboard. They look the three main chances with PERILOUS FIGHTER (7) and PHILOSOPHER (3) both chances for exotics.
