KING OF THUNDER (9) resumed after running a courageous seventh in the G1 VRC Derby at Flemington last November, with an eye-catching seventh along the inside over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Returned good figures first-up and capable of playing a leading role against some of his more seasoned rivals. UNLIMITED (4) just over a month between runs when a plugging seventh over 2000m at Randwick in BM88 grade. Further improved and looks great value with Nock's 3kg claim from the low draw. HURSTVILLE ZAGREB (11) another from the O'Shea & Charlton yard undefeated in two starts. Won over this trip last time out at Canterbury and expected to play a leading role again on the limit weight. KAPAKIRI (7) up in trip on the quick back-up when he covered ground mid-race for a plodding fifth over 2400m here. Back in distance and look for a better effort from the draw. ALL IN THE MIND (6) ready to peak now and should have little trouble running the 1900m out fifth-up. Drops in weight and must be kept safe.
