Supreme Novices' winner SLADE STEEL possibly found a big effort then taking the edge off him when only third at Punchestown on his final outing in April. He's a very exciting chase prospect and is fancied to make a winning return for the Henry de Bromhead yard. Better Days Ahead developed into a smart performer over hurdles himself last term, also winning at the Cheltenham Festival, and looks the danger.
