Tricky one to assess with a majority of the field having their first start. GIN SPIRIT (3) is a Spirit Of Boom filly on debut for the Hayes brothers. Looks an above average type on the back of some nice jump-outs back in Vic. Bright start anticipated. LA REINE (5) is also on debut and is King's Legacy filly for Shane Nichols. Is a half to a few handy ones, most notably G2 placegetter On The Lead. Has also impressed in her jump-outs and is an obvious danger. MOSTLY FOR SHOW (2) is a Vadamos colt on debut for the smart juvenile stable of R & C Jolly. Hasn't been sighted at public trials but the market suggests he's up to the mark. Toeroek piloting for this camp always reads favourably. It's a similar story for All Too Hard debutant filly GO ASK ALICE (4). Respect any market moves. MORE THAN HOPE (1) is a half to a couple above average types as well and is worth keeping safe in the minors.
