RUMINATE (1) goes on top. He's run third in his past three starts since a win at Ballarat Synthetic, finishing close up behind some smart types. The run two back in a BM78 at Bendigo behind Yellow Sam reads very well and now back to a BM64, he should go close. VIENNA VIXEN (9) is the danger. She was touched off by a handy mare in Floozie two back before a close up fourth at Cranbourne last time. Tricky draw but she can run well. EDDY STREET (2) is coming off a dominant win in heavy ground at Kilmore. The margin was likely exaggerated there due to the conditions but he should roll forward and give a sight. HE'S GODSPEED (5) has been about the mark of late and rates an each way hope. RAETIHI (6) wasn't far away here last time when well supported and can figure.
