VAST ART (10) didn't finish off that well when favourite last time out and looks well placed coming back to 1400m today. He drops right to the minimum weight and he maps to get plenty of favours under CJP. He was good in the Farnley two back and a return to that level would see him hard to beat in this. RIVER RUBICON (3) was super last start over the mile last start at Belmont and he boasts an imposing third-up record. The outside draw is a niggle, though he has proven versatile in his racing pattern. He drops in weight and rates highly.
