ALCHIAN (2) has been freshened up since his last run for fourth at Ballarat on the poly track there nearly 8 weeks ago. He will make full use of the pole position to secure a handy run in transit and should be one of the hardest to beat in another very even lineup. BLAZING REBEL (4) pulled too hard in the running last start at Pakenham on their poly track and faded in the run home. He is better off over 1800m and only carries 51kg after a claim. Don't rule him out of a top 3 finish this time. KISS THE BRIDE (3) was not far away from the winner when finishing third at a recent Grenfell picnic meeting last week. He won't lack fitness and Cory Parish sticks with him. Each way.
