BRAVE ONE (8) had 1 start last prep in December and was put aside to mature, after finishing fourth as favourite. He resumes as a gelding for the first time, and with a couple of recent trials under his belt, he will be ready to run a big race. Use the market moves as a guide. CRUEL SUMMER (6) has been out of form for a while and was well beaten fresh up at Randwick in a stronger field fresh up 11 days ago. He slides down in class and only needs a wet track to be a lot more competitive in this. Don't risk him. LLEWELLYN (3) made some solid progress last year and won a trial prior to finishing at the rear of the field fresh up at Warwick Farm 2 weeks ago. She strips fitter and will improve sharply in an easier grade here. Stick with her. METALLIC RULER (7) is proving to be very hit or miss and was fifth at Warwick Farm last time out. If his mind is on the job, then he can win and is worth the risk. DEBELLO (2) is racing well and should be included in all combinations.
