Verdict

HORCRUX (1) is a nice horse on the way up and steps out to this track and trip for just the second time. He's been tested in some strong company previously and the way he won over 1200m last start suggests this distance isn't an issue. Maps to find the front again and will be very hard to reel in. DEEL HER IN (9) was very impressive on debut at Pinjarra when running over the top to win by 1.9L. The splits backed up that effort and the extra journey is right up her alley. She has plenty of upside and it wouldn't surprise to see her go back-to-back. NOAHQUINTILLY (4) was a good winner in a similar race 21 days ago and the form out of the race has worked out well. Likely to get back from the draw, but she put up some good figures last start and she can go on with the job. TIMELESS GEM (5) felt the pinch late last start but will be fitter for that effort. Can improve. MEAN MACHINE (3) can build on a solid fresh effort behind Horcrux.
