Back in trip may not seem ideal but she was ridden quietly from a middle gate last time. Big chance with that race experience on board. SHOWTIME KISTENA (6) went to the front and staged a big form reversal to hang on gamely over this track and distance last time out, holding out the top pick here for second spot. Lightly raced four-year-old who should hold that form. KATHY'S ROSE (8) drove hard late but just missed in a thriller over 1000m at Hanging Rock recently. Drawn to play a significant role again despite this looking a stiffer assignment. HEAD AND HEART (2) is a Headwater gelding on debut of the Ledger stable. Placed in all four trials going back to July. The in-form Nick Heywood to steer is a plus. Another debutante in CAPTIVATING STORM (4) finished second at her only public trial and looks a likely prospect.
