BRIDIE'S LUCK (10) returned from a 32-week spell with a desperately close second over this distance at Tatura three weeks ago. Very effective mare at five furlongs. Looks the one to beat with an ounce of luck from a tricky draw. OUTBACK ANGEL (5) stalked the leader then exploded away last start in a BM58 over 900m at this track. Kept fresh since that success five weeks ago. Not as potent at 1000m but still a genuine threat. SUPER SUNNY SEEYA (8) is back from a 14-week spell. At his best over this course and distance, with a 100% top three strike rate. Usually comes to hand quickly so a forward showing is anticipated. SHOOTING FOR STARS (6) started favourite but disappointed in a similar race here on 21 November. Best form stacks right up so she deserves another chance. Distance specialist SCOFFA (3) won here earlier in the prep. Looks well in after the claim and should be competitive.
