NemID FAQ

According to Danish Gambling law players who are playing for real money are required to verify their account with NemID within 30 days of starting real money play to avoid account closure and winnings being confiscated. NemID identification is required for every login via the desktop client, however it is only required to take place once when playing on a mobile device.

NemID login is available on both the desktop and mobile versions of our software. Please follow the steps below to complete your login:

1. If you do not already have it, download our software to your computer
2. Open the PokerStars.dk software
3. Click “Log In” and enter your Stars ID and password
4. A NemID login window will open. Click “Continue”
5. A browser window will then open and you can log in via NemID us usual. After a successful NemID login your Stars Account will be verified
